Aidan Hickey is the founder of PeakAthlete, a lifelong GAA man and international athlete turned performance coach, known for blending deep sporting roots with cutting-edge science and a human-first approach.

David is a high-performance coach with experience in rugby, GAA, and youth sport. He has worked with elite teams like Leinster Rugby and Kildare GAA, and is currently leading a private coaching project in Switzerland, specialising in athlete development, return-to-play, and long-term performance.

Kevin is a performance and mental skills coach with 15+ years in the military and senior intercounty football. With a Master’s in Sports Psychology and a background in counselling, he helps athletes and teams build mental toughness, focus, and culture for sustained high performance.

Erin is a former international football goalkeeper with over a decade at the top level, representing New Zealand at three World Cups and two Olympic Games, and playing professionally across Europe with clubs such as FC Bayern Munich and Olympique Lyon. With a background in biology & health, alongside years of coaching and mentoring, she is passionate about supporting coaches and athletes to build confidence, find purpose beyond results, and thrive both on and off the field.

Mayo senior footballer for the past 6 years and a 2021 All-Star winner, with a huge passion for high performance, both on and off the field. Professionally, I work in data analytics and social media, specialising in turning complex data into clear insights. This background fuels my growing interest in sports analytics – using data to enhance performance, recovery, and decision-making. Excited to learn, share, and grow within this community alongside others who are pushing the boundaries of high performance.
With an M.Sc in Performance Coaching (Setanta), an MEng (UCD), ICF coaching certification (ACC), and credentials in Six Sigma, exercise science, and behavioural design, Aidan combines the science of performance with the art of coaching. He’s Ireland’s first certified Biohacking Coach, trained directly by global leaders like Ben Greenfield, Mark Sisson, and Dave Asprey, and mentored in behavioural change by Stanford’s BJ Fogg.
Aidan’s journey began on the fields of Ratoath GAA, where he’s a lifetime member and former underage Meath footballer. He represented Ireland in Australian Rules, winning both European and International Cups (2010/2011), and today coaches athletes and teams across Ireland and internationally — including as a coach for the Irish Men’s Aussie Rules team (2023/2024) and Ratoath’s Meath Division 1 Minor Champions in 2024.
With over a decade of biopharma consulting and a deep commitment to athlete wellbeing, Aidan’s approach is holistic, practical, and personal. His goal isn’t just to improve performance — it’s to help athletes stay healthy, grow with purpose, and enjoy the journey on the way to their peak.
